Doping Control Officer Convention 2015 was held in Beijing on April 11-12, 2015. JIANG Zhixue, Minister of Science and Education Department of General Administration of Sport, HE Zhenwen, Minister General of CHINADA, and ZHAO Jian, Deputy Minister-General of CHINADA were present at the convention, and about 190 control officers and doping test station representatives attended the convention.

At the meeting, Minister JIANG Zhixue made an important speech. He said, a good control officer team is the basic guarantee for Anti-Doping work, all control officers are required to enhance the sense of responsibility and sense of mission continuously as the emissary of “fairness and impartiality”, to improve the cognitive level of Anti-Doping problem, and to reinforce learning, to strictly observe specifications and procedures, and to further enhance the work quality.

Minister General HE Zhenwen summarized the work achievements and shortcomings of 2014. He pointed out that the year of 2015 is the first year to implement the new edition of World Anti-Doping Code (WADC), Anti-Doping Administrative Measures, and General Rules for Doping Controls in Sport, the task is arduous, and the situation is grim. He asked all control officers to reinforce learning, be good at thinking, observe laws and regulations, be disciplined and stringent, strengthen the sense of responsibility and sense of mission, strengthen three kinds of identities, and raise consciousness.

The convention also reported the doping test work of 2014, honored excellent doping test stations and control officers, and provided professional training.

The meeting is the control officer convention that is held in the first year to implement new WADC and Measures, with important meaning for implementation and fulfillment of new provisions. Learning relevant provisions further enriches the theoretical knowledge of control officers. Honoring advanced stations and excellent control officers further stimulates the work enthusiasm, so as to lay a good foundation for successful completion of all doping test work of CHINADA this year.
