Material package
The reception desk will be set at the hotel lobby during 8:00-20:00 of 4th November, and outside the meeting room during 8:00-11:00 of 5th November.
Please make sure to sign in at the reception desk and get your material package before the symposium sessions.
Symposium Venue
The main venue of the symposium is Xiangxue Hall (B), located at the second floor (F2) of the hotel.
The round-table discussions in Session 2 will be held from 14:00-15:35 on Day 1, 5th Nov. at the following 3 meeting rooms：
Topic 1：Training for Educators --- Meeting Room A (F1)
Topic 2：Supporting Minor Athletes --- Meeting Room B (F1)
Topic 3：Athlete Support Personnel --- Meeting Room C (F1)
For each topic, the 2 rounds of the round-table discussions would take place at the same meeting room. Please go directly to the separate meeting rooms based on the topic you have chosen for each round at 14：00. There will be CHINADA staff guiding the routes near each meeting room.
Transportation
Participants could get to Guangzhou either by plane or by high-speed train. The name of the airport is Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. There are 4 railway stations in Guangzhou, and the nearest one to the symposium hotel is the Guangzhoudong/Guangzhou East Railway Station.
CHINADA will arrange shuttle buses on 4th and 7th Nov. to pick up CHINADA symposium participants between the airport/railway station(s) and the NARADA hotel. To ensure efficient turnover of the buses, we kindly ask you to provide the flight/train information of your arrival and departure (very important) via the link in the email we sent earlier.
Information about the schedule, contact person and place to take the bus will be available soon.
Meals
Breakfasts are included in the accommodation fees, and will be served at the Lantian Cafeteria (F2). Besides breakfast, the following meals will be served:
4th Nov. Welcome Dinner Outdoor Lawn (F1)
5th Nov. Lunch & Dinner Lantian Cafeteria (F2)
6th Nov. Lunch & Dinner Lantian Cafeteria (F2)
Tickets for the above meals will be included in the material package that will be distributed to the participants during the sign-in on 4th and 5th Nov.
Optional Activity
The symposium offers an optional sightseeing activity (Pearl River Night Cruise, pay by participants themselves) in the evening of Day 1, the 5th Nov.
Participants, who have reconfirm to join the sightseeing via the link in the previous email, can pay by card or cash (RMB) when sign in for the symposium at the reception desk.
Participants would get together and take the bus from the hotel at 7pm, 5th Nov. and travel to the Dashatou Wharf, which takes about 40 minutes. Then the pearl river night cruise starts from the wharf and lasts for around 1 hour, following which participants would take the same bus and return to the hotel. In total, this trip takes around 3 hours from 7pm to 10pm.
Dress Code
The dress code is business casual during the symposium sessions and casual for other time.
Weather
Influenced by winter monsoons, the weather in Guangzhou in November is generally sunny, warm and dry with an average temperature of 20℃(68℉). The temperature during the symposium days ranges between 27℃(80.6℉)and 18℃(64.4℉).
