CHINADA marks 2025 Play True Day nationwide
2025-04-11
CHINADA is pleased to invite athletes, ASP, sports participants, and other stakeholders to celebrate 2025 Play True Day on April 11, showing active support and commitment to fair play.
Under the theme “Play True: It Starts with You”, the campaign initiated by WADA is for clean sport. In alignment with WADA’s efforts, CHINADA encouraged participants to share their commitment by posting photos and videos using CHINADA’s localized campaign assets. The campaign has garnered strong support from Olympic champions, National Games titleholders, elite provincial athletes, youth athletes, ASP, and anti-doping staff, highlighting the concept of “Each individual is important to clean sport and fair play”.
Innovation and creativity emerged in the campaign. Zhejiang Province, the host of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games, carried out outreach programs with themed games, such as group photos and hoop rolling. A standout practice was the “ADRV Visual Acuity Chart”, which creatively displayed the 11 types of ADRV to enhance participants’ awareness and retention of anti-doping knowledge. Fujian Province, located in southeast China, brought “Play True Day” to a university campus, expanding the reach of the “play true” values beyond athletes to a broader audience. Meanwhile, Shanghai encouraged youth athletes to design their own “Play True Day” elements based on their understanding of “play true”, helping them to build clean sport values at the foundational stages of their athletic career.
To date, CHINADA has collected hundreds of photo and video submissions for “Play True Day,” with the number continuing to grow. CHINADA is delighted to see the “play true team” expanding and will feature outstanding works on its official website.
CHINADA has always been committed to clean sport and fair play. In the upcoming Chengdu 2025 World Games and the 15th National Games of the People’s Republic of China, CHINADA will also carry out various forms of outreach programs to spread the concept of clean sport, raise participants’ awareness and ability to resist doping, and promote sportsmanship.
