National Anti-Doping Laboratory(Beijing)Transfer Statement

It is hereby stated that the National Anti-Doping Laboratory (Beijing) (hereinafter referred to as “the Laboratory”) shall be separated from the China Anti-Doping Agency (hereinafter referred to as “CHINADA”) and transferred to Beijing Sport University (hereinafter referred to as “BSU”) with effect as of December 15, 2021, in accordance with the relevant requirements of the International Standard for Laboratories established by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) regarding laboratory independence, and upon consultation between CHINADA and BSU.
BSU, as the new host of the Laboratory, shall ensure that the Laboratory carries out its work in an independent and impartial manner, and shall continue to provide it with corresponding support. The Laboratory shall carry out its work independently and impartially in accordance with the Chinese laws and regulations and the WADA International Standard for Laboratories, and take the corresponding legal liabilities.
CHINADA, BSU and the Laboratory each commit to strictly complying with the Chinese laws and regulations and the WADA International Standard for Laboratories to ensure the Laboratory’s independence in management and operation.
Before Laboratory moves to a new site, the current facility will be fully managed and used by Laboratory during this period.
