CHINADA to Hold the Second WADA Global Education Conference

According to the news released by World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) on 21 Dec, 2017, the second WADA Global Education Conference will be held from 24 to 25, October 2018, in Beijing. Under the theme of Innovation, Harmonization and Cooperation, the Conference will offer participants the opportunity to examine developments and achievements since the first Conference in 2015; updates in social science research; current education trends; and, the draft International Standard for Education and Information. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in practical working sessions, allowing them to interact and learn from their colleagues.
The Conference is designed for practitioners from National and Regional Anti-Doping Organizations, International Federations, Major Event Organizations, researchers and other stakeholders working and advocating for the protection of clean sport through anti-doping education, which receives massive attention in the field of anti-doping education. It is estimated that more than 300 participants home and abroad will be attending this conference.
Based on the values-based education, CHINADA has been operating in the brand of “Cloud of Sport Spirit” and taking advantage of “Three Pillars” system to increasingly earn its influence domestically and abroad concerning education. CHINADA assuming the responsibility to hold the conference is an approval from WADA and international scope for the progress that has been made by CHINADA.
General Administration of Sports of China attches great importance to The Conference. For now, CHINADA has been associating closely with WADA, and preparation is already on the way. CHINADA expects to hold a marvelous conference and takes this opportunity to exhibits anti-doping achievements of China.
The first WADA Global Education Conference was held in Ottawa, Canada, 2015, by Canadian Center For Ethics in Sport (CCES).
