2022北京冬奥会中，有一群“兴奋剂检查官”，他们肩负重任、身负使命，为维护公平的竞赛环境和赛场纯洁而坚守，成为活跃在赛场之外的场馆工作群体中重要的存在，他们号称体育界的“纪检员”。来自湖南长沙马王堆街道滩头坪社区的郭斯琴就是其中一员。

At the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, Doping Control Officers(DOCs) were a group of staff for safeguarding a fair competition environment and clean sport. They played important roles out of the fields and were so-called the "Discipline Inspectors" of sport. Guo Siqin, one of them, was from the Tantouping community in Mawangdui Street, Changsha City, Hunan Province.

郭斯琴是长沙市零点智能青少年成长服务中心的理事长，当得知能够参与到北京冬奥会时，她难掩兴奋和激动之情，“北京冬奥会是重大国际赛事，我能有机会参与其中，深感自豪！”

Guo Siqin is the chairman of the Changsha Lingdian Intelligent Youth Development Service Center. "The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics is such an important international event, and I am so proud to have the chance to participate in it!" Guo excitedly said when she knew she could attend the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

2022年春节，郭斯琴并没有回家过年。1月28日，郭斯琴来到张家口云顶滑雪公园赛区，进入了冬奥会闭环管理。从早晨8时到晚上24时，从“天未明”到“夜幕降”，日行上万步是家常便饭。

During this Spring Festival, Guo Siqin didn't go home to celebrate with families. However, on January 28th, she came to the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou and entered the closed-loop management system of the Games. She usually worked here from 8 a.m. till midnight, meeting with the dawn and dusk. Taking tens of thousands of steps a day was the order of the day for her.

2月20日，忙完一天的工作，郭斯琴接受了记者的采访。在北京冬奥会上，她的“阵地”是云顶滑雪公园赛区的兴奋剂检查站。她介绍，作为一个检查官，要严格遵守反兴奋剂检查的各项操作规程，对待每一个受检运动员一视同仁，“某种程度上说，这工作是给别人挑错的，我们也要禁得起别人的挑剔。”

After finishing her work on Feb 20, Guo Siqin received the interview. At the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, she worked at the Doping Control Station of the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou. She told the reporter that for DCOs, they must strictly adhere to all operational procedures of anti-doping controls and treat every athlete under test equally.“To some extent, if we want to test others, we also need to stand the others’ test.”Said Guo.

面对来自世界各地的运动员，检查官不仅要有专业细致的责任感，还要善于沟通，有很好的交流能力。在和运动员们沟通时，郭斯琴全程都必须使用英文交流。高海拔和寒冷干燥的气候也给她的工作带来了不小的挑战。

When meeting athletes from all over the world, the DCOs should have professional and careful responsibility and master communication. For Guo Siqin, she needed to talk with athletes in English throughout the communication. Besides, she also must bear the cold, dry weather and high altitude during her work.

经历了数日来北京冬奥会的紧张工作，郭斯琴感慨道：“和我们的工作相比，运动员们实在是太不容易了！因为工作，我也比别人更深地理解了体育精神的伟大。”

After days of intense work at the Games, Guo Siqin said, “The athletes worked harder than us. Since working at the Games, I could feel more deeply about the greatness of the Olympic Spirit than others.”

郭斯琴告诉记者，兴奋剂检查是一项非常严谨、要求“零失误”的工作。对兴奋剂检查工作了解得越深，敬畏之心就越强烈。因为他们的存在，是为了维护一个公平公正的体育环境，也是为了每个选手能拿到干干净净的奖牌，保障一个公平、干净的冬奥会。

Guo Siqin told us the doping test was rigorous work that required "zero mistakes". The deeper she learned about the doping test, the more strongly she held in awe of the work. In her opinion, the meaning of Doping Control Officers was to safeguard a fair and equal competition environment and help every athlete win clean medals, which guaranteed a fair and clean Winter Olympic Games.
